Nancy Marino is a University Distinguished Professor of Spanish. Her research on medieval Castilian literature and history has been widely published in national and international venues.The author of seven books and more than thirty articles, her most recent monograph, Jorge Manrique¹s Coplas por la muerte de su padre: A History of the Poem and its Reception, was published by Tamesis in 2011. Professor Marino is the director of the Valencia study abroad program, the MSU representative to the Newberry Library¹s Renaissance Center, and President of the Iberomedieval Association of North America.
