Nicholas Bruckman is pursuing a Master’s degree in French from the Department of Romance and Classical Studies at Michigan State University. Originally from Owosso, Michigan, he has had the opportunity to study in diverse environments, including Lansing Community College (LCC), Michigan State University (MSU) and Université François Rabelais in Tours, France. While studying at MSU, he was nominated for Student Employee of the Year for his work done with the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine office of public relations.
Nicholas received a B.A. in French and Education from Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters with Honors in May 2014, where he also received the Dorothy Carr Houvener Memorial Endowed Scholarship.
Nicholas is interested in cultural exchange and education. He taught English in Corsica, France, during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 academic years in elementary schools Saint Jean II and Forcioli Conti in Ajaccio.
