Isaac Veysey-White is from Quincy, Michigan. He graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and Spanish in 2013 and from Western Michigan University with a Master of Arts in Spanish in 2017. During his M.A., he specialized in the literature and culture of Spain from the medieval period to the modern period as well as the linguistic systems of Spanish and their acquisition. He has volunteered abroad on multiple occasions, working with Global Brigades in Honduras in 2013 and United to Benefit Ecuadorian Children, International (UBECI) in Ecuador in 2016. He has presented at multiple academic conferences, including the 36th Cincinnati Conference Romance Languages and Literatures and the 16th TROPOS Conference.
Currently, he is a graduate student and teaching assistant while studying for a PhD in Hispanic Cultural Studies.
