The following awardees have been celebrated for their advancement of knowledge in their disciplines, their collaboration with researchers in other units or institutions, their pedagogical innovations and effectiveness, and/or their service to the community at large.


2016

Douglas A. Noverr, Professor and Interim Chairperson of Romance and Classical Studies, inducted as a member of The Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi, chapter at Michigan State University.

Rocío Quispe-Agnoli, Professor of Spanish, College of Arts and Letters 2016 Faculty Leadership Award, Michigan State University. In recognition for embracing collaboration and joint deliberation, and engaging in goal-setting, and consensus development.

Valentina Denzel, Assistant Professor of French, 2016 Alumni Award for Innovation & Leadership in Teaching and Learning, College of Arts and Letters Michigan State University. In recognition of excellence in innovative pedagogies.

 Babana-Hampton, Safoi,  Humanities Without Walls Global Midwest Initiative Award, funded by the Andrew W. Bill VanPatten, Professor of Spanish and Second Language Studies, Robert G. Mead Distinguished Leadership Award, The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.


2014
