RCS Student Awarded Alumni Endowed Scholarship

Ten College of Arts & Letters students recently were awarded $500 in scholarship funds from the Alumni Endowed Student Book Scholarship and Robert L. Fiore Student Book Scholarship funds. The purpose of the awards are to ease the financial burden of a college education for students with a record of academic achievement. The funds may be put towards school materials such as books and art supplies. This year, junior Brooke Bloomfield, was the RCS student to receive one of the scholarships. Brooke is pursuing degrees in English and Spanish and has a passion for education. She has spent time volunteering at the Refugee Development Center of Lansing.
