Colleen Lally, Spanish and Elementary Education Double Major
During my time at MSU, I double-majored in Elementary Education and Spanish. I loved everything about my time at MSU, but I think having the opportunity to study abroad two different times in Spain was one of the most beneficial things for me personally and academically. I learned so much about the world and myself and learned Spanish in a way that I would’ve never been able to on my own. I am so thankful for having been a part of two great colleges at MSU that have challenged me and helped me gain so much knowledge to use in my future career and life. Other highlights from my undergraduate experience at MSU include cheering on our football and basketball teams, having a great on-campus job, being a part of the MSU Outdoors Club, and becoming friends with so many great people, among so many other great experiences that MSU has provided me. During the next academic year, I will be student-teaching in an elementary classroom in the Grand Rapids area. This will provide me with great experience and knowledge for wherever life takes me in my future career. Go green!
